Dear friends,

Welcome to Beijing Information Technology College (BITC).

BITC is committed to promoting the social, economic, and personal development of students. BITC provides clients with high-level vocational education by continuously improve education quality. We strive to maximally satisfy the needs and expectations of the society and students.

Founded in 1954, BITC is a public full-time general higher vocational-technical college approved by the Ministry of Education of China. During the course of its long-term development, BITC won the highest honor granted by the Chinese central government and the Beijing government thanks to its outstanding education quality. Now, BITC is an acclaimed higher vocational college in Beijing, a national talent training base for the Belt and Road countries talents, and has won the Fifth Huang Yanpei Excellent School Award in 2017.

Presently, BITC consists of many teaching departments such as Computer and Communication School, Electronic and Automation School, Economic Management School, Digital Art School and Transportation Engineering School.

BITC focuses on five disciplinary fields: software and information service, telecommunication and network, electronic and automation, economic management, and digital media design. Students can major in software technology, big data technology and application, computer network technology, information security technology, telecommunication technology, electronic information engineering technology, mechatronics technology, e-commerce, smart business data, health information management, marketing, convention & exhibition planning and management, digital display, digital media art design, and TV & Film animation.

BITC has been engaged in promoting education internationalization for a long time and has worked with higher education institutions in such countries as Australia, the UK, New Zealand, Germany and Singapore. BITC has been qualified for recruiting international students (including those from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) since 2008, and about 2600 international students have been admitted to BITC from such countries as France, Britain, the United States, Germany, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Russia and Egypt.

Dear International Students, China is known as “a country with ancient civilization, a country of rites”. 2,500 years ago, Confucius, the greatest educator in China, said, “How delightful it is to have friends coming from afar!” This quote expresses the belief that all visitors should be welcome with friendship and hospitality.
