When you got the BITC admission notice (hereinafter referred to as the admission notice) and foreign study abroad personnel visa application form (hereinafter referred to as JW202 form), you should take them to Chinese embassies in your countries to apply for a student visa, the embassy or consulate will give your entry visa from China based on your admission notice book and JW202 form. If there is any question about the entry visa, please contact the local embassy. The needed materials when applying for visa (the detail materials are subject to the local embassy)

1) Passport

2) Admission notice（Issued by BITC international student office）

3) JW202 Form（offered by BITC international student office）

Tips: If there is any question when you apply for the visa, you can consult the local embassy; If there is any question about the Admission notice or JW202 Form, please contact BITC international student office.

1) When you arrive at BITC, please first register and pay the tuition at international student office.

2) When you have been registered student of BITC (you have registered and paid the tuition), you can go to the international student office to apply the application form for visa and residence permit.

3) Take the related materials and go to the Beijing Public Security Bureau to apply for the visa.

The materials needed are as follows:

1) Original passport

2) Admission notice

3) Temporary Residence Registration Form (Students living in campus should apply for it at international students apartment, Students living off campus should apply for it at the local police station accompanied by their landlord)

4) One passport-sized photograph (2 inches, white background)

5) Physical Examination Record For Foreigner (Issued by the Haidian outpatient department of Beijing international travel health care center（No. 10, Dezheng Road, Xibeiwang Town, Haidian District, Beijing). If you have got the Physical Examination Record For Foreigner, please take the original record when you make the Physical Examination.）

If the visa is about to expire during your college years, please pay off the fees of the term 30 days prior to the expiry of the visa,then go to international student office for visa extension. Please take the following materials:

1) Original passport

2) Full tuition payment voucher

3) Temporary Residence Registration Form (Students living in campus should apply for it at international students office, Students living off campus should apply for it at the local police station accompanied by their landlord)

4) One photograph (2 inches, white background)

1. Applying by yourself. Take the related materials to BITC international student office to apply for the application form of foreigner, then go to the Beijing Public Security Bureau to apply for the visa; the fee is 400 Yuan

2. Applying by agency. Take the related materials to BITC international student office and entrust the Beijing CGU international business service co.,LTD (CGU co.) to apply for the visa;the fee is 500 Yuan

Tips: If the visa needed urgently, please apply for the visa by yourself,which may take less time.

If you want to suspend or drop out from the BITC during your college years, you should change the residence permit into visitor's visa. First go to the international student office to apply for suspend or drop out from university. If admitted, go to the international student office to apply for the modification of visa. Please take the following materials:

1) Original passport;

2) Temporary Residence Registration Form (Students living in campus should apply for it at international students office, Students living off campus should apply for it at the local police station accompanied by their landlord)

3) One photograph (2 inches, white background)

Tips: The modification of visa needs more than 10 working days, please do not book tickets in advance to avoid unnecessary loss.

BITC only help their family members apply for the residence permit for private affairs within the time limit of residence permit of the international students. BITC cannot help the family members by visa-free entry. However，BITC only help diploma students’family members apply for related visa. Please take the following materials:

1) Temporary Residence Registration Form of the family members

2) Original passport of the students and their family members

3) Original certificate and copy to prove the family relationship (If issued by the overseas institution,it should be certificated by the foreign embassies in China and consulate. If necessary, the translations issued by the domestic translation agency should be also submitted)

4) Physical Examination Record For Foreigner (Issued by the Haidian outpatient department of Beijing international travel health care center（No.10,Dezheng Road,Xibeiwang Town, Haidian District, Beijing). If you have got the Physical Examination Record For Foreigner, please take the original record when you make the Physical Examination）.

5) One passport-sized photograph of the family members (2 inches,white background).

6) Full tuition payment voucher of the whole year.

1. If you've overstayed the visa during your college years, you should go to the Beijing Public Security Bureau to get your due and receive the disposition notice.

2. Take the disposition notice to the international student office to get the application form for foreigner.

1. If the passport is due to expire during your college years, you should go to the Embassy in China to apply for a new passport 3 months before. Because some countries need more time, please reserve enough time in advance， you can ask your country's embassies in China about the working time.

2. After obtaining the new passport, you should go to the international student office to receive the application form of foreigner within 10 days.

1. If the passport was lost in China, you should take the valid certificates to report to the police station near the place you lose your passport, and receive the certificate for your lost passport.

2. Take the certificate for your lost passport to Beijing Public Security Bureau to apply for passport lost certificate.

3. Take passport lost certificate to your country's embassy in China to apply for new passport.

4. After obtaining the new passport, you should register at the BITC international student office within 10 days. And then, go to the Beijing Public Security Bureau to apply for the visa and residence permit.

After you get the new visa, you should update the accommodation registration in time, and take the new passport and accommodation registration to international student office to archive file.
